Sounds like you have the infamous lack of lubrication problem.
| >==========================================================
| >Due to the inadequate lubrication of a mechanical part of the
| >Ricoh 7060/7040 and the AOpen 9624 (= Ricoh 7060) write failures may
| >occur.
|
| While the unit is open, be sure not to contaminate internal parts. Wash
| your hands before starting; keep them clean while working; and work in a
| dust-free environment.
|
| >Take the unit out of the computer, remove the top cover of the casing
|
| To do this, remove the four screws from the bottom of the unit (one of
| which is normally covered by a warranty sticker); turn the unit top side
| up; slide the top cover back a bit while prying up the plastic tab at
| the center of the front bezel to release the tab; and then lift the top
| cover off while spreading the sides a bit to free the retaining/locking
| tabs on the sides.
|
| >and eject the loading tray by inserting a pin into the small hole
| >situated in the bezel, just below the loading tray.
|
| A straightened paper clip works fine.
|
| >Next you need to remove a bracket, approx. 5 cm wide, by unscrewing 2
| >small screws.
|
| The bracket (plate) in question has a plastic CD hub in the center and
| covers the full width of the drive (about 12 cm). The approx. 5 cm
| measurement is front to back (i.e., overall size of the bracket is about
| 5 x 12 cm).
|
| >Then, seen from the front side of the burner, a worm drive is
| >visible on the left.
|
| The metal drive screw is visible on the *inside* of one of the two rails
| running from front to back. Look at an angle -- the drive screw is not
| visible when looking straight down at the drive.
|
| >This is the part that requires lubrication.
| >Apply some light grease (vaseline may do the job just as well) and
|
| Don't use grease or Vaseline -- too viscous and easily contaminated. If
| you don't have ready access to professional lubricants, I recommend
| Archer Precision Lubricator with Teflon, Radio Shack Cat. No. 64-2301A,
| which should be available in retail stores. Put a single *small* drop
| on the center of the metal drive screw. Do not use too much lubricant!
|
| >after reassembling and reinstalling the unit, your Ricoh 7060/7040 or
| >AOpen 9624 will/may perform flawlessly again!
|
| Before reassembling, slide the tray back into the drive until it locks
| in place.
|
| After reinstalling the drive in your computer, insert a filled audio CD
| and seek between the first track and the end of the last track several
| times in order to distribute the lubricant over the length of the drive
| screw. Then run a write simulation or two to see if you were
| successful. (I burned a filled test CD and then compared it to the
| source just to be sure.)

ich werd das jetzt bei mir machen....
