Wer kann mir sagen ob der Via KT133 Chipsatz der auf meinem Asus A7V Mainboard ist, den Athlon XP unterstützt? ich hab die neuesten Bios updates installiert, und SiSoft Sandra zeigt mit auch an, das ich eine CPU mit 1,8 GHz einbauen kann. Da es den Athlon C nur bis glaube ich 1400 MHz gibt, kann ja eigentlich nur der Athlon XP gemeint sein.

wie soll ein XP denn auf nem KT133 mit 133er FSB laufen ?
wie soll das gehen ? wo hast du die infos her ? biste dir sicher, dass es für das "A7V" ist ?

Moin,
guck mal nach was für eine Rev. Dein Mutterbrett hat.
Habe selbst ein A7V mit Rev.1.04. Das Brett läuft mit FSB 133 und mein XP 2000+ wird einwandfrei als solcher erkannt. Rev. 1.02 läuft natürlich nur mit FSB 100.
