How should I make my existing Windows 2000 SP4 installation from my old computer work in my new computer, which is equipped with a A8N-VM CSM motherboard. I always get the error "inaccessible boot device", when booting on the new computer.

Hi cerious,
I'm afraid you will have to re-install the system. Taking over an existing installation may work if both computers have the same chipset, otherwise a re-installation is strictly recommended.
You may have a chance by de-installation of the old chipset driver and installation of the appropriate new one, but I wouldn't rely on that.

Problem solved. Ich habe die Instal ini von der Treiberdiskette des SATA Controllers ausgeführt und die Files in den Drivers ordner kopiert, lief von selbst weiter. aber danke Olaf. Sorry wegen dem Englischen, ich habe die EMail kopiert, die ich an den Kundendienst geschickt habe.
