Hallo zusammen,
ich habe eine Digitalkamera, welche den Modus S LOG 2 bietet (Sony Alpha 7s). Ich weiß, worin der Hauptnutzen liegt: Dynamikumfang!
Was ich aber nirgends finde, egal wie ich meine Suchanfrage auf Google formuliere, was SLOG 2 eigentlich ist. Es ist kein Codec, aber was ist es? Einfach eine Kombination an Bildeinstellungen, die in ihrer Gesamtheit standardisiert sind und SLOG 2 genannt werden? Oder ist es etwas technisches? Ein SLOG-Sensor?
Weiß hier jemand mehr?

Since S-Log can reproduce the entire tonal range
captured by a CCD or CMOS imager, the S-Log image can be described as the “Digital Negative” of the image acquisition process.
Shooting in S-Log will enable the cinematographer to decide the exposure value by using a light meter, and offer a smooth transition from film acquisition to digital acquisition.
