mal wieder ein statement zum Hammer, vielmehr dazu, ob es denn nun probs mit der 13er Fertigung gibt:
Jan Gütter: "Although I can not further comment on our financial results, I would like to take the opportunity to reiterate that our transition to 0.13 micron process technology is on track as previously stated. AMD has first sampled 0.13 micron AMD Athlon XP processors in the fourth quarter of 2001. In April this year we launched the Mobile AMD Athlon XP processor based on 0.13 micron process technology shortly followed by its desktop variant on June 10, also in the first half of this year as previously stated.
In fact, AMD's state-of-the-art Fab30 in Dresden, Germany has already fully converted its wafer starts to 130 nm technology. As such, AMD is the only PC processor manufacturer worldwide with all of its PC processor production on 130 nm technology. By the end of this year AMD expects to produce samples of 90 nm technology."
na das lässt doch hoffen oder ?
