HardOCP has opened a can of worms at the Rumor Mill. Looks like they are hearing that it will be the 2800+ that would have the best chance at 333FSB. Looks like the rumored release of the 2400+ and 2600+ are not gonna come with a new FSB. I wonder what that leaves for being new on these soon to be released processors? Fresh off the Rumor Mill Hotline is news that the AMD 2800+ part that is shipping soon will in fact be a 333 DDR FSB part. There are independent people in Taiwan that have had units for testing so we will more than likely see a 333 DDR AMD 2800+ part if all goes well, although nothing has been announced yet. There has been no confirmed launch date for the 2800+ CPU’s either, but we do know, given the time frame, it should be right around the corner. These rumors have been circulating for a while, but the news we got today makes it seem that it could very well be a reality if everything goes well.
